Jeallaina Irvin is a licensed cosmetologist and certified image consultant who stands for the empowerment of powerful women. Her journey with beauty began when her love of fashion and styling flourished around her family and friends. She was the trusted go-to for all things fashion and was fought over when family events came up as her make up application went unmatched. It was a hobby that soon revealed itself as a calling, using her talents to accentuate the beauty she saw in others and to allow them to be comfortable and confident in their true selves.

The story of Beauty to Style started when Jeallaina’s professional career began to take shape. While in the process of attending cosmetology school and obtaining her Pennsylvania State cosmetology license Jeallaina worked as a beautician in a high-end department store performing facials, beauty treatments and makeup services. With her cosmetology license secured she began working in some of Philadelphia’s most prestigious salons servicing a full range of clientele. The quality of her work led to styling for music videos, photoshoots, and charity events.

During her illustrious career as a cosmetologist Jeallaina also studied business administration and to best diversify her proficiency took classes in both psychology and communications. She then went on to further her knowledge of fashion and styling, honing a much-loved craft she’d had since childhood. All of the education she pursued would lead to the innovation of Parvenu Beauty. With 10 years of experience in the beauty industry she noted that while a change in hair styles, a new shade of lipstick, and a form fitting dress did wonders, they rarely all came together with an emphasis on confidence and how to truly present one’s self. She knew she needed to change that and so she did.
